Praveer Ranjan Takes Charge as CISF DG:
India’s Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), two senior IPS officers of the 1993 batch have taken charge of key paramilitary organisations. Praveer Ranjan has been appointed as the Director General (DG) of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), while Praveen Kumar has been appointed as the Director General of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP). Both officers assumed office on September 30, 2025, following the superannuation of their predecessors.
