LSAM 10 (Yard 78) Missile Cum Ammunition Barge Launch:
- LSAM 10 (Yard 78), the fourth vessel in the 08 x Missile Cum Ammunition Barge project, was successfully launched at Guttenadeevi, East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh. Constructed by MSME Shipyard, M/s SECON Engineering Projects Pvt Ltd (SEPPL).
- The ceremony was presided over by Cmde Shanmugam Sabesan, CRO (East), marking a significant achievement for the Indian Navy.
International Tourism Mart Organized at Shillong, Meghalaya:
- The Ministry of Tourism is hosting the 11th edition of the International Tourism Mart in Shillong, Meghalaya, from 21st to 23rd November 2023.
- The International Tourism Mart is a yearly event organized by the Ministry on a rotational basis in one of the North Eastern States.
- The primary aim is to offer a broader platform for stakeholders in the North East to engage with counterparts from within the country and overseas markets.

Emmett Shear Appointed Interim CEO of Open AI:
- Microsoft-owned OpenAI, Inc., the creator of Chat Generative Pre-trained Transformer (ChatGPT), has announced the appointment of Emmett Shear as its interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
- He will replace Mira Murati, the interim CEO of Open AI.
- Murati became the interim CEO of OpenAI after Sam Altman, the co-founder and former CEO of Open AI was ousted by the board.
