SBI to Power Banking Services at 26 Land Ports Across India:
In a move aimed at enhancing India’s border trade infrastructure, the State Bank of India (SBI) has formalized a partnership with the Land Ports Authority of India (LPAI). The collaboration will equip 26 land ports with modern banking facilities to promote smoother trade and passenger operations. SBI signed an MoU with LPAI to provide modern banking infrastructure at land ports to facilitate international trade, forex transactions, and financial services, aligning with India’s vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047. Objectives is to provide comprehensive banking services including forex, insurance, and digital banking at land ports.
