Global SDG Rankings:
The country has, for the first time, entered the top 100 in the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Index, ranking 99th out of 193 nations in the 2025 edition of the UN Sustainable Development Report. Published by the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) and led by economist Jeffrey Sachs, this is India’s highest position yet in the SDG rankings.India has entered the top 100 SDG rankings for the first time, achieving a score of 67 out of 100.
