Delhi CM Launches ‘U-Special’ Buses for College Students:
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta flagged off a new fleet of ‘U-Special’ buses aimed at improving daily commute for Delhi University students. The initiative revives the long-defunct U-Special service and introduces a modern, electric, and student-friendly public transport system, combining environmental consciousness with enhanced safety.The U-Special bus service, once a staple for Delhi University students, had been non-operational for years. CM Rekha Gupta, in her address, pointed out that previous administrations—whether under AAP or Congress—neglected this service.
