Union Agriculture Minister said India has become the world’s largest rice producer, with output at 150.18 million tonnes, overtaking China at 145.28 million tonnes.

- Telangana – 16.63 MT (≈ 12.17% share)

- West Bengal – 15.12 MT (≈ 11.06% share)
