The Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-N) has declared a famine in its controlled territories, including the Nuba Mountains and parts of Blue Nile State.SPLM-N Emerged as a breakaway faction of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM)after South Sudan’s independence in 2011. Primarily represents the interests of the Nubaand Blue Nile regions in Sudan.
Advocates for greater autonomy, political representation, and resource sharing for marginalized regions in Sudan.
